Drug Uses
Zithromax is used for treatment of infections caused by certain bacteria. It may also be used for other situations as determined by your doctor.
How Taken
Use Zithromax as recommended by your physician. To clear up your infection completely, use Macrobid for the full course of treatment. Keep taking it even if you feel better in a few days. Failure to do so can decrease the effectiveness of this curing and may increase the risk that the bacteria will no longer sensitive to Zithromax and will not be able to be treated by this or certain other antibacterial drugs in the future.
More Information
Zithromax can cause drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, or lightheadedness. These effects can worsen if Zithromax is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Use Zithromax with caution. Don't drive or perform other possibly dangerous tasks until you know how you respond to this product. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, check with your doctor. Zithromax should be used only by the patient for whom it has been directed. Do not take less or more or take it more often than recommended by your doctor.
