Drug Uses
Anafranil is indicated for treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It can also be used for other conditions as determined by your physician.
How Taken
Use Anafranil as ordered by your physician. To avoid stomach upset take Anafranil with a meal. It may take two - three weeks before you notice the effect of Anafranil. Continue taking Anafranil even if you feel well.
More Information
Anafranil may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. These effects can worsen if Anafranil is taken with alcohol or certain other drugs. Take Anafranil with caution. Don't drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to this drug. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, visit your physician. Anafranil should be used only by the patient for whom it has been ordered. Don't take less or more or take it more often than directed by your doctor.
