Drug Uses
Paracetamol is used for treatment of mild to medium pain due to headache, muscle aches, backache, joint pain, arthritis, the common cold, flu, toothache, teething pain and menstrual cramps. Paracetamol also decreases fever in adults and children. This drug is often used in patients who cannot take anti–inflammatory (e.g. due to stomach ulcer), as it is gentle on the stomach.
How Taken
Use Paracetamol exactly as pre-scripted by your physician. Don't exceed the prescribed dosage as it may be very dangerous and life threatening.
More Information
Paracetamol can cause dizziness. These effects can worsen if Paracetamol is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Use Paracetamol with caution. Don't drive or perform other possibly dangerous tasks until you know how you react to this drug. If your symptoms don't improve or if they worsen, call your doctor. Paracetamol should be used only by the patient for whom it has been directed. Do not take less or more or take it more often than ordered by your doctor.
